“And I’m afraid of death, robot?”
Will more than likely post colored pic of Arson's beast state up on deviantART when I stop poking around with the sketch and get around to it. Then maybe I'll really get to work on his bipedal form from the concepts I have, cause I'm having to much fun working on beast state. ^^;

From what I've seen about it, it seems pretty legit.

Pretty much two days crammed in the no-foot-room-fo’-you! backseat of my bro’s car. And I am no short person, people. (not freakishly tall either. But still.)
But for the trip back, I got to ride in an airplane for pretty much the first time. According to the parents, I was on one when I was pretty much a baby. So yeah, meaning I don’t at all remember it. Needless to say, on the plane today, spent the whole time staring out the window. It was: "o: Whoa, I’m thousands of feet above the ground." at the same time as "D= OMG, I’m thousands of feet above the effin’ ground!"
The whole "above the clouds" thing was pretty cool though. ^_^
And also:
Back to the books. -_- Grr.
Admittedly, this year will probably bring more things for me to be enthusiastic about. For one thing, the classes I picked and actually got should teach something that I may actually use in my life. Like my automotive class (The only thick textbook I’ve ever been happy to see)!

Siiiiiiiiigh...
I’ve been so busy lately. This entire weekend was spent helping out with family reunion stuff. The rest of the days between this and last entry, I’ve just been increasingly busy (mostly filling stuff out). And completely drained by the end of the day.
Ugh, that (tiredness) is what happens when I go for a month without exercising pretty much everyday.
Stupid debatably important life stuff attacking my time -_- ...
Well, through the busy-ness, I did think up some new pics I hope to work on soon.
But, as only my luck would have it, my computer now not only decides to kick me off the net every five minutes, but randomly decides that it’s not going to cut on unless it feels like it. Ya know, it’s kind of hard to try to get rid of viruses when the computer won’t cut on. Grrrrr.
And yes, my username is still the same. I was about to change it when I realized how bleh the name I was gonna change to looked when I typed it out. So yeah.
That’s pretty much all the “important” stuff...
( In other, video game ramblings... )

Tuesday was a great day. It rained nearly all day. And it was the seventh day of the seventh month of the year! And a full moon! So the day was lucky and rampant with werewolves! X3
It’s rained everyday here since then. Well, somewhat stormed intermittently too. But rain is always great.
The actual update:
I finished revamping Ch. 1 of tDoW! The revamped version is over on my FanFiction.net page. And I changed Ch. 1’s name to match the word theme of the rest of the chaps.
That chapter didn’t really change that much. The main change in the story will be that the little toy will be absent, since I decided to purge him.
Whatever the case, this story shall get finished. It's becoming something of a "If I get it all down on paper it's no longer inside of me, Threatening the life it belongs to" thing (isn't "Breathe" by Anna Nalick a great song? X3 lol). You know, since the seeds of this story starting sprouting in my head not quite two years ago now.
And username change shall happen before muh next entry here.

So! Firstly, did everyone have a good fourth? If ya live here in the U.S.A., did you go to a cookout and watch/shoot fireworks?
Great! Such a wonderful holiday. Let’s celebrate the anniversary of our country’s independence by gorging ourselves on our standard unhealthy foods to ensure our and probably our future’s health problems like we do every holiday. Then to top it off on this one, let’s pollute the air with fireworks to kill the ozone for future generations so they can burn up and have all kinds of other problems to deal with!
You follow the logic? No?
Anyways:
Argh, I’ve been being bad at everything lately. Digital arting has somewhat settled in my stable grasp, but the figurative palm becomes sweaty and slippery at random of times. And some stuff is still confusing *seeks guidance*...
I browsed my stories that I have up in a random bout of boredom, only to discover that Zoe Jane had a good three lines randomly thrown from their rightful spot to a few lines above it, and tDoW had nearly the entire last half of Chapter 2 in italics! One little "/" can ruin the whole world of words. -_-‘
Dang it, self! Stop being suckish!
BLAZBLUE!
In short, the all around best game that I have played in some time. It’s a 2D fighter, which is normally "Bleh!" with me. But this one has more than won me over.
First of all, it’s gorgeous.
The graphics and characters are...wow.
And the music. *dies from the greatness* It has frikken opera/choir ah’s mixed with overdrive guitars! Which I KNOW sounds stupid. But you have to hear it to appreciate it, especially if you’re not a dork of music technicalities and classical like myself.
It’s like anime soundtracks. Which is a bit of a stretch to say, since not all anime have appreciable music. Hmm... Think Full Metal Alchemist score, but with more electric guitar, and you kinda got it.
And the stories. So intricately written, and all the characters’ so skillfully and beautifully woven together.
I guess all that should be expected since it’s from the makers of Guilty Gear. But what makes it better is that it’s somewhat easier than Guilty Gear. Though it was kinda fun to learn all the different people’s moves on guilty gear instead of just using the basic moveset.
In other ramblings, I shall more than likely be changing my username here quite soon. My subconscious has grown bored here with this one. lol So don’t be freak out if you find a different username on my stuff here.

Deleted and reinstated because I forgot to ramble about some things.
Obviously will contain spoilers. Kthnx.
Firstly, in short, fangirl-ish fashion- OMG, that wuz frikken AWESOME!!!
And the drawn-out, analytical review-
Overall, yes, it was really awesome. I had more than my delicious fill of giant robots, explosions, and awesome cars.
It had its ups and downs, however. For one thing, the sex innuendos. I mean, sure, one or two wouldn’t have been bad. But there were way more than that. And only a couple of them were even amusing. Got kind of irritating after a while.
But I guess that just goes back to the "focus audience" spectrum (i.e., teens who live for that stuff and up. The "franchise growing with it’s fans" trend that’s been started with such things lately.)
The trash talking was awesome. X3 Of course you’d expect that from the bots after working side by side with humans for two years. Even Optimus got caught up doing it. Though I think he’s the only one to not get in any swears. lol
Ugh. No, Screamer! What happened to the tough, bad-a Starscream we had in the prequel stuff before the second movie? Why did we revert back to the sniveling Screamer of G1? (and/or whenever he was like that (I only know live-action movieverse thoroughly ^^’)) Just ‘cause Megs is back doesn’t mean you have to revert! And Starscream's voice sounds different from what it was in his one english line in the first movie! Argh.
‘EY! How did The Fallen get out of his giant triangle/pizza slice sarcophagus? Hopefully the novelization of the movie will explain that or something...
Kinda disappointed we didn’t get more focus on Arcee or any of the other new guys, at that. I mean, all Soundwave got to do was float around as a satellite -_-. The only focus we got was on the new twins. Who were amusing but forgettable. Not to mention ugly.
I lol'd when Judy threw her purse at Rampage. (didn't notice 'til the second time I saw it)
Some of the CGI in this one was...iffy, to say the least. It wasn't as good as it was in the first movie. It kind of reminded me of the animation in The Nightmare Before Christmas or the like. And while suiting for that movie, it wasn't for the robots in a real world environment. It just looked weird. Especially when they moved. But then, since I'm assuming it saved the budget to fit more awesomeness into the movie, then I am just being a picky visual artist.
So apparently Bay is trying to chase the kid audience away (some/most parents probably won’t let their kids go see it after hearing things it contains). But, on the otherhand, the somewhat irritating innuendos and...dog...mating...will maybe draw in a bigger audience.
*shrugs* Time will tell...
Most things that happened in the movie were expected, too. Optimus dying wasn't a surprise. It was to be expected from what apparently happened in the original Transformers G1 movie (it's a stretch to say it was an easter egg, but meh). He and Sam coming back to life wasn't a real shocker either. And I guess I pretty much ruined the "surprise" everything else in the movie should have had by dorking out over the prequel comics and book pre movie release (i.e., Screamer's "tatoos", the weapon in the pyramid, etc.).
Also, the soundtrack isn't too shabby. Oddly enough, though, I mainly like the songs that were actually used in the movie. The whole thing is pretty decent though. Especially "Never Say Never" by The Fray (piano song played during Sam and Mikaela's "goodbye" scene). So beautimous...

...really suck sometimes. Really.
Yep. The bro is most definitely a major factor in getting anything done. I swear, everytime I started to get on a roll getting anything done, he'd be bored and bug me to play video games (Brawl mostly) with him. Irresistably, most of the time, I might add. Why are his friends never there when I need them to be? -_-
So between that, family problems and changes, and a major bout of writer's block that hit for a while, things have been just peachy lately.
Die, writer’s block. Die.
(tDoW Chapter 5: Vicissitudes) is up, by the way (lol).
You know how sometimes you go back and look at things you’ve written in the past, and you kinda get that feeling like you're looking at something disgusting? Like, a roach unexpectedly crawling out of a sandwich you just took a bite out of or something along those lines? Yeah, I’m majorly going through that. I can hardly even stand to even look at most of it.
Man, the first few chapters of tDoW need a clean-up. Bad.
On that note, if you’ve somehow wandered to my journal for the first time and are reading this, then (first of all: HI!! *waves*) I suggest save yourself the torture and skip to chapter 4 to save yourself the headache. Then if you still want to read the rest of the first chapters, then meh.
If you’re here and you’ve already read the first chapters, then wow. Please forgive me for your troubles and headaches. *gives you aspirin* I applaud your dexterity and dedication. Wow.
I’m more than likely probably going to change the little toy introduced in chapter 3’s alt mode (I already poked around with it right after uploading that chapter (I have a habit of doing that with everything right after uploading them sometimes)). Ya know, broaden his horizons some and what not. So once I revamp the first few chaps of tDoW, his intro may change a bit. If he’s not purged. D.< Not sure what his alt. will be yet. Browsing around for one. Hopefully he won’t end up being a kitchen appliance, but it’s looking likely. -_-‘ lol Meh. Though on the other hand, I could do some amusing things with that...

For example, a teacher of mine quite a few years ago told us about how a relative of hers killed a cow in a pasture for food (yes, she grew up in country-country). The other cow in the pasture promptly started to run around in the pasture like a crazed animal, and when they finally caught it, she said it was shaking and throwing up.
I'm pretty sure that if I saw something like that, I wouldn't be able to look on and not think that it was feeling some kind of emotion. And therefore probably sympathize.

Anywho, here are the sketches as promised. (Technically a day late, but meh. ;)P ) (Look at ‘em.) And yes, I did say sketches. :)P So forgive the crappiness.
Just headshots and hands for now. Entire body later.
(Hmm...
I must be feeling Japanese right now or something, ‘cause I really want riceballs for some reason. I watched way too much anime... (then again, is there such a thing as too much anime? ...who am I kidding.))
In other news (lol)-
OMG, the suspense of the impending upcoming movie is killing me! I’ve seen so many Revenge of the Fallen trailers on TV already I could just nearly rattle myself apart in excitement. X) Back when the first trailer came out on Superbowl Sunday (which forced me to actually watch the Superbowl for the first time ever), I downloaded it a few days later. And then proceeded to watch the thirty second thing so many times, that I even noticed Arcee and two others chasing the Decepticon that crashed through the building. (...What? That’s not a spoiler, they showed her in the trailer!)
Two more weeks and then some!

Alright, kiddies! Update time.
The internet has randomly decided that it would be nice to me, and hasn’t kicked me off for quite a long time now. *sigh* Still can’t figure that one out.
Chapter four of The Drones of War is up (Chapter 4: Ebullient). I seem to be stuck on an every two weeks (well, three weeks now, but still) update pattern for that one instead of the every week one I was trying for. Blame it on school. -_- *sigh* But then again, two weeks from now, I shall be free of such things.
But we’ll see how that goes, since the bro is around for the summer. He would be the number two reason why I have taken so long to get anything done. ^^; He came home last weekend, and almost needless to say, grudging video game competitions ensued. We’re talkin’ hours of Super Smash Bros. Brawl that we played into the dead of night in just one night last weekend (not to mention every night these past weekends as well). Then he decides to introduce me to Age of Empires II, which is an evilly addicting game that I must force myself to ignore to get anything done. I manage pretty well during weekdays, but man...
So back to the updates. lol
Hopeful to have OC Arson sketches up sometime next week. -_- School *pokes*...

Congrats to Linkin Park for their single, the new theme song of Revenge of the Fallen, "New Divide". ^-^ Great song.
I always have liked Linkin Park. They saw me through the height of my teen angst. X) lol Their music really was quite therapeutic. And still is good. Despite what some people may think of Minutes to Midnight, their new toned down angst sound really is good.

So Free Comic Book Day was last Saturday. Didn’t make it to any comic book stores, since the closest one to me is at least 45 minutes away. *sigh*
Snagged a copy of the freshly released Transformers: The Veiled Threat that day though. The lady from the information counter in Books-A-Million laughed when I couldn’t help but to give a slow, whispered little "Yay" when she showed me to it. I didn’t really expect them to have it.
Haven’t cracked it open yet, but that’s probably what I’ll be reading on nights during this week; working on studying and English papers (-_-; ) during the afternoon, since I especially can’t stay awake at night doing them (Studying seems to be ultimate soporific for me).
After eventually pulling myself out of the bookstore (I seriously shouldn’t be allowed into a good book or arts and crafts store alone unless there is a minimum thirty minutes to be killed), I ended up listening to NPR on the way home, which I normally only do on Sunday afternoons. Apparently ketchup has mellowing agents. X) Who knew.
Also finally finalized and uploaded chapter three of tDoW (spiffy acronyms yes? :3 ) today, which can be found here> (Chapter 3: Appurtenance)
Would have had updates sooner (couple days sooner), but internet’s been stubbornly refusing to connect randomly as of late (Oh, dial-up. How I loathe you so.).
(Oh sure, everyone would update and stuff would happen while I’m out of commission. ;)P *goes to catch up*)

If you haven’t seen the new-new-new TF2 trailer yet, then what non-Cybertronian rock did you just crawl from under? GO WATCH IT! (link) Between Bumblebee dancing and the new All-Spark situation stuff and just the overall awesomeness of the graphics, it is a thing of beauty.
I give it a 9 out of 10 (not quite perfect score because I watched it in the middle of the day and was distracted thinking about it for the rest of the day. It was just so awesome. lol).

So. Updates.
Ugh. I’ve been falling asleep through the whole night for the past three nights or so now. I have this weird thing about falling asleep where if I fall asleep for more than about 4 hours and don’t get the full recommended amount of sleep, I’m sleepier the next day. So yeah, been out of commission on the net and not up to par in real life for the past couple of days.
Yeah, late on updating The Drones of War. -_-‘ (I was trying to finish it and ended up writing Zoe Jane songfic about Mikaela-and-father instead. Writer's block does weird things.). But it shall be done by tomorrow! Maybe... ^^’ That’s all I can say, since setting deadlines seems to be, uh, a little more motivating for me to get things done.
Anyway, it’ll be up over on TransFictions.net now, thanks to
And still learning new things with Photoshop, amazingly. Just learned about using gradients in pics and felt retarded for not thinking of it before. -_- Mmyeah.

Finished and uploaded 4 pics over on deviantART. So I’m officially at least partially alive over there. ^-^
And since my updates sometimes come in bulks during oh-my-god-free-time!-use-it!, finished first chapter of The Drones of War. And I started a TransFictions.net account to put it on. But it still won’t let me upload over there. -_-‘ Apparently my account hasn’t been confirmed yet, but still.
